Our Lord Jesus promises: "If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done by my Father in heaven" (Matthew 18:19).

 
If we agree, it will be done! When we as a body of believers agree, not only will we see the victory and power, but we will see miracles. When the early church acted in unity and concord, the miracle took place (Acts 3:1-7)!

This awesome power is available we too, if only going to use it. In fact, the Bible tells us that God's Word will have free access only through the power of agreement: "Brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it is with you: and we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith "(2 Thessalonians 3:1-2).

Jesus shocked religious leaders when he blessed rank sinners. They considered that those people were cursed, not knowing or observing Moses’ law and religious traditions; they wanted nothing to do with them. Jesus’ approach was to befriend them. He said, “The good news is preached to the poor” (Luke 7:22). That was revolutionary! To the religious perfectionists the poor were untouchable, but Jesus preached to them, loved them, forgave them and healed them. Saving that rogue called Zacchaeus had a cost for Jesus – his reputation. Zacchaeus worked for the occupying power of hated Rome and the people saw Jesus connect with him. It damaged Jesus’ popularity. His foes would make much of it. His reply may have cut little ice with those impervious critics but it uncovered the truth about the character of Christ: “The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” That sums up Jesus, our Lord. If it sums up any of us, it simply shows that we are following His example. It is not reputation we seek, but renewed lives. God bless you richly. REINHARD BONNKE

Hechos 11: Él Cambiará su punto de vista.

Algunas veces el Espíritu Santo revelará el futuro en preparación para las luchas y contiendas que les esperen. Encontramos una de estas en el versículo 28. "Levantándose uno de ellos, llamado Agabo, daba a entender por el Espíritu, que vendría una gran hambre en toda la tierra habitada; la cual sucedió en tiempo de Claudio".

Cuando ocurre este tipo de revelación, no hay explicación natural para ella. Sin embargo, existe un conocimiento interno de que sucederá lo que se le ha revelado a su corazón y que debido a la gracia de Dios, Él lo está preparando. Mediante la oración puede prepararse para lo que le espera.

Hechos 10: Él Cambiará su Tradición

 

El vecindario donde me crié en Jaffa, Israel, se llamaba Jope en tiempos bíblicos, un antiguo nombre griego. Cuando niño escalé hasta el alcázar, un faro en el punto más alto del puerto. Cerca de allí está la casa de Simón, el curtidor de pieles, donde el apóstol Pedro tuvo una experiencia que cambió al mundo.

La visión de Pedro del cielo abierto mostraba a Dios bajando animales cuadrúpedos, reptiles y pájaros en una sábana gigante. Dios le dijo a Pedro que los matara y se los comiera. Pedro, un hombre atado por la tradición, dijo: "Señor, no; porque ninguna cosa común o inmunda he comido jamás" (Hechos 10:14).

El Señor respondió: "Lo que Dios limpió, no lo llames tú común"(v.15).

Mientras Pedro pensaba en la visión, el Espíritu Santo le dijo que bajara y se encontrara con tres hombres que lo buscaban. Además, Dios le dijo que no dudara "de ir con ellos, porque yo los he enviado" (v.20).

Pedro aborrecía a los gentiles. Estaba tan atado a su judaísmo que antes de ese momento no podía hablarles. Pero debido a la visión, abandonó su tradición y tuvo un gran ministerio en el mundo gentil.

Sólo el Espíritu Santo puede producir una transformación tan radical.

Before Joseph died in Egypt he took an oath from his children that they take his “bones in a coffin” on the day of departure for the Promised Land. (Gen 50:22-26). Joseph didn’t want to be a mummy in Egypt with a private pyramid. He wanted to be present when God opened the Red Sea. They took his bones when they left Egypt. (Heb 11,22) The bones didn’t rattle in the coffin; they must have laughed and rejoiced… There was more life in those bones then in those who carried them. The bones arrived, but not the bearers. Joseph blew the first trumpet of faith for the return of Israel! He blew it with those not yet born, but who would blow the trumpets to bring down the walls of Jericho. Joseph had died at age 110. A man of faith at 110 is younger than a critical teenager! C’mon, you can join Joseph’s battalion today and be ready for 2013. God bless you.

Antes de la muerte de José en Egipto tomó juramento de sus hijos que toman sus "huesos en un ataúd" en el día de salida de la tierra prometida. (Gen 50:22-26). José no quería ser una momia en Egipto con una pirámide de privados. Quería estar presente cuando Dios abrió el mar rojo. Tomaron sus huesos cuando salieron de Egipto. (Heb 11,22) Los huesos no caer en el ataúd; debe tener se rió y se regocijó... Había más vida en los huesos y en aquellos que llevaron. Llegaron los huesos, pero no los portadores. Joseph sopló la primera trompeta de la fe para el retorno de Israel! Él hizo explotar con los aún no nacidos, pero que le soplan las trompetas para derribar los muros de Jericó. José murió a la edad de 110 años. Un hombre de fe en 110 es más joven que un adolescente crítico! Vamos, puede unirse a batallón de José hoy y estar listos para 2013. Que dios te bendiga.

Prayer is not a human idea. God has put it into us to do so, whether we realize it or not. He comes to us so we can come to Him. The Lord said to Ezekiel (2:1-2) ‘Stand up on your feet and I will speak to you’. The Lord always takes initiative. Prayer is much more than just talking to God, as if we were on a telephone. What passes between God and us is not just words. Something happens when we pray. In prayer we breathe the air of heaven. It brings Divine oxygen to the bloodstream of faith and energizes workers with God. Something gets us going for God. We collaborate with Him and He collaborates with us. He lights up a route plan in His Word giving us direction and destination. Prayed today? God bless you.

La oración no es una idea humana. Dios ha puesto en nosotros para hacerlo, si nos damos cuenta o no. Él viene a nosotros por lo que podemos llegar a él. El Señor dijo a Ezequiel (2:1-2) 'De pie sobre sus pies, y hablaré a usted'. El Señor siempre toma la iniciativa. Oración es mucho más que simplemente hablar a Dios, como si estuviéramos en un teléfono. Lo que pasa entre Dios y nosotros no es sólo palabras. Algo sucede cuando oramos. En la oración que se respira el aire del cielo. Trae oxígeno divino al torrente sanguíneo de la fe y energiza trabajadores con Dios. Algo obtiene nos va para Dios. Colaboramos con él y colabora con nosotros. Él ilumina un plan de ruta en su palabra que nos da dirección y destino. ¿Oró hoy? Que dios te bendiga.
